Join us Saturday, August 3rd for our Old World vs. New World wine tasting.
The event will be held in our private room and run from 2-4 pm where we will be tasting 11 wines. This event is different than our other wine dinners in that it is 2 hour event with family style appetizers and 11 wines to taste.

Wines being featured:
1. 2017 Albaclara Gran Reserva Sauvignon Blanc
Maipo Valley • 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Bright green in color, the wine exhibits a nice balance of citrus fruit and herbs on the nose. Fruit-driven, fresh and persistent, with great structure coming from the grapes of Maipo Valley and acidity from the grapes of the Leyda coastal region.
2. 2016 Pinot Grigio
Delle Venezie IGT • 100% Pinot Grigio
The 2016 Pinot Grigio offers fruit-forward and delicate aromas and flavors of tropical fruit and green apples. On the palate, the wine is refreshing and light with balanced acidity.
3. 2017 Castello della Sala Bramito Chardonnay
Umbria IGT • 100% Chardonnay
Wine Spectator 6/17, 2016 Vintage
The 2017 Bramìto is straw yellow in color. The nose is characterized by delicate white floral notes followed by light sensations of citrus fruit. The palate is crisp and full-bodied, vigorous and with pleasing mineral notes. The wine ends with a long savory finish of vibrant acidity.
4. 2017 Chardonnay
Columbia Valley • 100% Chardonnay
The 2017 Chardonnay is smooth, rich and balanced. With flavors of bright apple, pear, tropical fruit with delightful floral and creamy notes integrated with a nice rich mouthfeel and hints of oak in the nose and finish.
5. 2017 Rosé
Columbia Valley • 94% Syrah, 6% Grenache
The Anew Rosé opens with bright aromas of pink grapefruit and peach blossom, followed by flavors of crisp watermelon and juicy strawberry that linger on the palate. This is a vibrant wine with racy acidity and savory minerality.
6. 2017 Calafuria Rosato
Salento IGT • 100% Negroamaro
91 points Vinous Media 6/18, 2017 Vintage
Rose petal pink in color and has intense and delicate aromas on the nose of white fruit, peach and grapefruit. The fragrant notes are harmoniously melded together with the floral sensations of violets. Initially soft flavors fill the palate then finish with crisp acidity and an aromatic, persistent finish.
7. 2016 Resplendent Pinot Noir
Dark fruit aromas collaborate to tempt the senses offering blackberry jam, plum, currant and a whisper of spice and mint. The mouth is plush and soft opening up to Kirsch, boysenberry, bergamot and dark chocolate. The persistent, fruity finish leads to a compelling temptation to sip again.
8. 2016 Dolcetto
Dolcetto d'Alba DOC • 100% Dolcetto
The 2016 Dolcetto is ruby red in color with aromas of red fruit and flowers on the nose. A classic Piedmontese wine that is versatile and can be paired with a variety of dishes or throughout an entire meal.
9. 2014 Hussonet Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
Maipo Valley • 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Syrah
The 2014 Hussonet Cabernet Sauvignon is deep red in color, offering aromas of toffee and caramel accompanied by light herbal notes of fresh mint and rosemary. The wine is well-balanced with a long and savory finish.
10. 2016 Guado al Tasso Il Bruciato
Bolgheri DOC • 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Syrah
The Wine Advocate 9/18, 2016 Vintage
An intense ruby red color, the 2016 Il Bruciato offers aromas of ripe red berry fruit in addition to sensations of sweet spices and light, fresh mint. The palate is well structured, persistent and very pleasurable in its fruity finish and aftertaste.
11. 2013 Bocca di Lupo
Castel del Monte DOC • 100% Organically Grown Aglianico
Wine Spectator 9/18, 2013 Vintage
The 2013 Bocca di Lupo is an intense ruby red with a nose that is ample and quite intense with fruit. The wine has pleasant balsamic sensations and sweet spices of nutmeg and licorice.
